arashi_bangumiThe first half is about shinsengumi quick history and tidbits and 2nd half is a fake iron chef on harapeko kids' bentou with Anne as guest for the whole show. Both are funny, but I hope somebody will sub this episode because I have no idea what they're talking about on Shinsengumi history and all, and I'm too lazy to go look up on every single kanji (the names!!! OMG, might as well wiki the whole shinsengumi history thingy). If you don't feel like being spoonfed with speed course of shinsengumi (but you'll be missing small hilariousness of what makes our boys Arashi that we love, well it's your choice, just saying LOL), then you can watch the hilarious bentou competition (tons of hilarity induced here).

Aiba-chan cuteness is always worth your watch. His the host of today's shinsengumi museum visit.
We have Aiba quiz throughout the segment, particularly on questions such as, why the shinsengumi headquarters layout/room is designed in a certain way.
Note, our dear Arashi-chan is super chibi, Anne already wear a flat and she still towers over Aiba-chan (the tallest among the lot). Sigh, we still love you guys though haha...
Aiba-chan playing samurai, and off course the most excited boy is Aiba-chan, at Nino's expense.
Felt left out while Anne was engrossed with Shinsengumi's artifacts and they started to loiter around and Nino even dare to ask whether they should go back to NTV (brat! and leave your guest alone, tsk, Nino).
A way to make guest super happy. Anne was allowed to hold the real Satou Hikogoro's (one of the Shinsengumi's sponsors) sword, which is longer than regular samurai sword (correct me if I'm wrong here). Aiba-chan shoo-ing the member to have Anne alone take the picture, in Aiba-chan's way, off course.
Food time! And here Ohno's saying something LOL...
They're talking about how Shinsengumi was the legend in the past and question popped up on how about who's the legend now. Ohno said it in his tennen way, he thought if we're talking about now, maybe it's Arashi, and got double smacks from Sho-chan and Nino.
This is the soba...
And there're so quiet making slurping noise at all and nobody's talking except Sho-chan (he's the last one to finish!).
And off course, we know who'd finish first, and he just swallowed the whole soba without chewing.
This segment shows a glimpse of the old Arashi behavior, they're still the same. That's why it's worth watching.
Really, Sho-chan even imitate the yellow bell pepper biting that Kaga did in Iron Chef LOL
The challenger!
The challenge is they need to pick one of the celebrity's fridge to make bentou in 30 minutes.
Arashi made a huge noise on which fridge they needed to choose after Anne scored Ikko's fridge, which was so well organized. They end up with Hokuto-Kensuke family's fridge, which has tons of meat.
Sho-chan obviously enjoyed playing Kaga in this segment :)
Aiba-chan! You applied what you've learned from Manabu! I'm so proud of you!
Sho-chan: Waa, umasou! Goodness, the way he said this is just too funny LOL
Since he got nothing to do, he started to make reports on Ikko's fridge and pick the cucumber pickle...
Tasted it (off course, he just had to eat it LOL), and being completely ignored by the rest LOL
Aiba-chan is quite creative here, he's wrapping the meat with the veggie.
Bonus cap: Aiba-chan cute face tasting his meat wrap creation :)

Tomo papa group! Matsujun only cook the sauce, the workers are Aiba-chan & Ohno, while Nino... almost did nothing, that brat...

Overall, a good episode, AniShi is doing quite good lately for me :) If last week's highlight is Sho-chan, this week is about Aiba-chan XD

Aiba Souji Masaki being cute and take over Okita Souji name from Ohno. Nino being a brat, Sho's laugh and embarrassed himself, Jun being Jun and shot down Aiba Quiz :3
Btw, just goggled a bit. The sword Anne held is not one of Shinsengumi member. The woman, Satou Fukuko (which explained as direct descendant of Satou Hikogoro) said that it's Satou Hikogoro's sword who act as Shinsengumi sponsor in that era. I enjoyed Fake Iron Chef segment with Sho and his obssesion with food. Aiba and Ohno who are working earnestly, Jun as his usual self and Nino who did...nothing xD
Their food seems delicious thought. Anne's one feels heavy for children (as someone, I think Sho?, said) with much black pepper in it but neutralize with omelette rice.
Tomo papa's one is nice too, looks like they keep in mind Oda Nobunari's lesson in the previous episode about "girly force of dudes" (I stole your term from previous review xD).
